Avkash in Sanskrit (अवकाश) can simply mean “Space” or “Limitless Space” or “Infinite Space”. Also, "Avkash" (अवकाश) is derived from the Sanskrit root words "ava" meaning "down" or "away" and "kash" meaning "to shine" or "to appear". Together, "Avkash" signifies a period or space where something shines forth or becomes apparent, suggesting an opportunity or favorable circumstance.

On the same lines, our founder Shri Sharad Bachubhai Vyas envisaged Avkash as an Infinite Space (Space ~ Real Estate) and infinite opportunities in the domain of Real Estate wherein we intend to develop real estates that can shine forth and present excellent opportunities & growth for our customers.

Our founder Shri Sharad Bachubhai Vyas, founded the Avkash Group in the year 1987 when he entered into the realm of Real Estate in the capital city of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. In a classic movie style, he started the firm’s real estate business with meagre financial means but went on to develop real estates that are still a class apart. Shri Sharad Vyas started his journey of real estate development by developing individual land parcels/plots in Gandhinagar City and converted them into beautiful and functional homes for dozens of happy families. His knack for perfection, attention to detail, devotion to excellence and an attitude to never settle for anything but the best is the foundation of our company’s vision.

Carrying such distinctive virtues Shri Sharad Vyas steered the company towards developing real estates in promising areas of New Gandhinagar and the firm launched its first ever multi-storey commercial building project Avkash One at Randesan, Gandhinagar in the year 2023.
